Together We Rise and Shine!
Our Story
Sunrise Pratishthan began as a group of friends united by a love for trekking through the Sahyadri mountains. Along our journeys, we encountered underprivileged communities and witnessed the disparities within society. These experiences inspired us to take action, leading to the creation of Sunrise Pratishthan. What started as a circle of adventurers has grown into a committed NGO, driven by our collective passion to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need. Together, we're using our time, efforts, and resources to uplift communities and create lasting change.
Our Mission
Through our collective experiences, identify pressing issues in our society and commit ourselves to addressing them. Our initiatives are diverse and impactful, driven by a shared vision of creating a more equitable and sustainable world. Currently, our focus is on waste management in urban areas, reducing plastic use, and promoting environmental sustainability.
Current Endeavor
Mission City Chakra: We are actively engaged in the Mission City Chakra Project by the Centre for Sustainable Development, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics. Mission City Chakra is action based initiative for influencing the policy makers like the school principals, corporate office admins, institutions admins, housing society committees, restaurant and hotel managers for implementing ideas to design a livable city for our children.

Since 2010, we have successfully executed over 30 initiatives in areas such as the environment and education within the Pune district, positively impacting numerous lives and spreading joy.

Annadata Sukhi Bhava: Supporting farmers
Our campaign "Annadata Sukhi Bhava" raised INR 3 Lac to support farmers in Nandale village, Dhule district. We supplied seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and organized soil testing and workshops to enhance agricultural productivity.
Panvan Ashram: New building for an Orphanage
We constructed a hostel spanning 1000 sq ft, equipped with bunk beds and a solar water heater, for orphaned and underprivileged children. The Umakant Mahila Balvikas Sanstha, led by Mr. and Mrs. Torane, manages the hostel, and provides care and support to the children.
Empowering Education
In collaboration with leading corporations, we facilitated the introduction of computers in schools in Nimgaon (Junnar) and Mungi (Paithan), ensuring access to modern education tools.
Voter Awareness
Collaborating with Parivartan & Pune Police, spreading general awareness about voting before general elections across Pune & PCMC through 28+ street plays and Placard-slogan drives
